What Is Student Accommodation?

Student Accommodation is a type of accommodation where guests live in a granny flat, house or apartment complex with other residents.

Unlike Homestay, you do not need to provide meals, and will not be living with the students and other guests staying in your Student Accommodation.

Who will stay in Student Accommodation?

There are different types of students and other guests that will choose Student Accommodation, such as:

  • Students and other guests who have been staying in Study Vision homestay for a while, and are now ready for a more independent lifestyle
  • Students and other guests coming directly from overseas to study or work

What do you need to provide?

Study Vision currently offers two types of Student  Accommodation:

  • The first type is where each guest has their bedroom, sometimes including an ensuite bathroom, and share other facilities (kitchen, bathroom, etc.) with other tenants. This type of student accommodation is fully furnished, and normally includes all utilities and internet access.
  • The second type of Student Accommodation is where the guest rents an apartment or house, with their own kitchen, bathroom, etc. This type of acccommodation allows for more privacy and independence. Many of these apartments are not furnished and the guest will also be responsible for their own utilities, internet access and meals.

If your property does not match one of these types of Student Accommodation, please contact us, and we will discuss your situation.

How much will I get?

You can specify how much you wish to receive for your property in your registration.

Please note that, while we will offer your property to our students or other guests at your requested price, high rates may limit the number of applicants you will get.

How long will students and other guests book for?

The booking period ranges from 12 weeks up to 26 weeks. Other booking periods can be considered. Please contact us to discuss this.

Study Vision will then sign an agreement with you to market your Student Accommodation property
