What should I do if I want to move out?

You need to send an email to Study Vision ([email protected]) at least 2 weeks before you want to move out. Please note that your 2 weeks notice will start from the business day that Study Vision receives your email (i.e. if you send the email on Saturday, your notice period will start from the following Monday). We will inform your host about your departure, but you can also let your host know your intentions, if you wish.

We recommend that you move out at the end of a 4 week Rental period, as Prepaid Rental will not be refunded.

If you do not inform Study Vision at least 2 weeks before you move out, you will need to pay for the 2 week notice period. For example, if you have paid your host for 4 more weeks of Rental, and then after 3 weeks, you decide to move out, you will need to pay the host 1 more weeks Rental, to make up the 2 week notice period.

If you need help finding a new place to live, please do not hesitate to contact Study Vision. We will be happy to help you find a new homestay or student accommodation, but you may need to pay a new Accommodation Placement Fee. If you do ask us to arrange your new accommodation, you may be eligible for a discounted Placement Fee.”
