Can I ask my guest to help with cleaning around the house?

Your guest is responsible for cleaning their own bedroom, and you should make sure that they have access to necessary cleaning supplies, such as vacuum cleaners, etc.)

You can also ask that guests do their own laundry, if ou are comfortable with allowing them to use your laundry machines.

We encourage you to include the student in your normal household duties, so they learn how to look after a household.
