Are guests allowed to use my kitchen to prepare their own meals?

If your guest has booked a Homestay Without Meals, you must allow the student to use your kitchen to prepare their meals, and allocate space in cupboards and the fridge for them to store ingredients. Your guest should clean up after themselves whenever they use your kitchen. Please guide and suprevise the student that it is their responsibility to clean the kitchen and make sure appliances are switched off when they finish using the kitchen, for everyone’s safety.

If your guest has booked a Homestay Including Meals, they generally will not need to use your kitchen. However, we would like you to be flexible if the student asks to use your kitchen to prepare light meals (noodles, porridge, etc.) for themselves. Underage students should not be allowed to use the kitchen unsupervised, to avoid any safety issues.
