What is required from hosts?

If the student/guest has booked a Homestay With Meals, you will also need to provide:

• a private bedroom with a single bed, wardrobe and desk with a lamp
• all utilities (electricity, water, gas)
• internet access
• laundry facilities
• breakfast and dinner on weekdays (Monday to Friday)
• breakfast, lunch and dinner on weekends (Saturday and Sunday.
• basic toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper). If the student requires any special soap, shampoo or other toiletries, they should purchase these at their own expense.

If a student/guest has booked a Homestay Without Meals, you will need to provide:

• a private bedroom with a single bed, wardrobe and desk with a lamp
• all utilities (electricity, water, gas)
• internet access
• laundry facilities
• access to your kitchen so they can prepare their own meals.
• basic toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper). If the student requires any special soap, shampoo or other toiletries, they should purchase these at their own expense.

You will also need to:

• monitor your student’s health and well-being
• provide a friendly and inviting home for your student
